Terms of service
Appointments
- Bookings are essential.
- Prices are fixed and based around time and product used. If extra time is needed then an invoice may be sent to the client with additional charges.
- All invoices are payable on or before the time of the booking.
- If the Client is not satisfied with the service performed then the Client must inform Jina at the time of the booking and allow Jina a chance to rectify the service.
Deposit
- A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
- All deposits are non-refundable.
Changes
- Changes to time and date will be taken into consideration, however this will not always be able to be met. In circumstances where changes cannot be accommodated then a refund of amount paid (excluding the deposit), will be made to the client. Refunds will only apply to changes which are made 48 hours prior to the booking, after which the full remaining balance must be paid.
Cancellations
- Please advise at least 48 hours prior to your booking for cancellations. You will otherwise be liable to pay the booking costs in full.
- ‘No shows’, including vouchers and prepaid appointments, will be liable for the full price of the missed appointment.
Weddings and Group Bookings
- Prior to the wedding, Jina will perform a consultation and trial, to determine makeup requirements of the Client.
- A minimum of 4 people is required for wedding bookings, unless agreed upon prior.
- A minimum deposit of $250 is required in order to secure your preferred date and time for all wedding and group bookings. This deposit is non-refundable.
- The balance is to be paid 7 days prior to the date of the booking.
- Every effort will be taken to accommodate any changes to the service performed within reason, however please be aware some changes may incur additional charges.
- Changes to time and date will be taken into consideration, however this will not always be able to be met. Refunds will only apply to changes which can not be accommodated, if at least 6 weeks notice has been given, after which the full remaining balance must be paid.
- Cancellations must be made more than 6 weeks prior to the wedding date, after which the full remaining balance must be paid.
- Milage - $1.5 per km. Trips further than 3 hours travel time may require cost of flights and accommodation to be provided.
Commercial Bookings
- All commercial bookings will be quoted at an hourly rate prior to the booking.
- A deposit of 20% of the estimated amount is required in order to secure your your booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
- The balance is to be paid no later than 7 days after the date of the booking.
- Every effort will be taken to accommodate any changes to the service performed within reason, however please be aware some changes may incur additional charges.
- Changes to time and date will be taken into consideration, however this will not always be able to be met. Refunds will only apply to changes which can not be accommodated, if at least 2 weeks notice has been given. After which the full remaining balance must be paid.
- Cancellations must be made more than 2 weeks prior to the booking date, after which the full remaining balance must be paid.
Mileage and Fuel Costs
- Your booking is subject to additional costs which will be calculated at the time of the consultation for mileage and fuel expenses. Approx. $1.5 per km.
Privacy Act
- Your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and any other personal information that we hold is for the sole use of Jina and any employees of The Glow Studio. This information will not be sold or rented to any third party.
Rights Reserved
- Jina reserves the right to cancel any booking, and provide email notification of doing so, when a booking is in breach of these terms and conditions.
Liability
- Jina Hudson-Grove is not liable for any allergies or skin irritations.
